Origin Story
In a Nutshell...
Mootruism™ was born out of a desire to turn random acts of kindness into something you can hold, share, and smile about. One critter, one connection, one Moo at a time!
The Full Story

I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, population 4,000, where we had one token traffic light. There were times we needed, and could, ask a neighbor for a cup of sugar because we ran out.
It instilled in me a sense of community and trust. Which meant that ever since I was little, a stranger was nothing more than someone I hadn't met yet.

As the years passed, it felt as though people became increasingly disconnected and isolated. Phrases like "stranger danger" were on the rise and people seemed to lose trust in their communities and each other.

Fast forward to today, I don't know that we've ever been so divided and unable to talk with those around us.
Sure, we can "communicate" online but for anyone who's spent time on social media, it's not exactly the most welcoming of places. Between ads, "trolls", and "keyboard warriors", it's difficult to find a welcoming community.

So why do I share all of this? Because it's the foundation behind why I created MOOtruism™!
Acts of MOOtruism™ are meant to create opportunities to break barriers and talk to someone you wouldn't have otherwise been able to approach. And on days you're not feeling as brave, you can anonymously moo someone, hopefully offering a spark of light, of joy, in their day.
